WLF is one of five coordinating partners of the Bloomberg Initiative to Reduce Tobacco Use in low and middle-income countries where more than two-thirds of the world's smokers live.

The organization and its activities are rapidly expanding. As part of this growth, The World Lung Foundation is committed to building a first rate worldwide communications division. Working closely with a key partner, the International Union against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease, the WLF is seeking a Communications Officer based in Cairo, Egypt.

The communication Officer will report to the World Lung Foundation while working closely in a coordinated fashion with Resource Center staff and in country partners to be able to plan and execute communications activities as needed to achieve goals and objectives in Egypt.
