Major
accomplishments to date:
- Staff positions recruited, new dedicated office space allocated within DoH and the new tobacco control unit of CHD-MM has been formally established by government circular.
- Mayor of Taguig City – Taguig has agreed to be first 100 percent smoke-free LGU – launch for all seven areas in planning phase.
- Report in preparation on the economic
effect of the tobacco control ordinance (impact
on businesses).
