In December 2009 at the World Lung Conference in Mexico, Dr. Carter spoke to WLF about her commitment to international lung health. Here, she shares two extraordinary patients’ stories and the reasons why she feels proud to be a part of WLF. Listen to her stories (left).

WLF board member Dr. E. Jane Carter splits her time between Rhode Island, USA, where she has a pulmonary practice and teaches medicine at Brown University, and Eldoret, Kenya, where she works with tuberculosis patients and an exchange program with Brown.
