Mark is running with the Russian Children's Welfare Society (RCWS) Marathon Team, on behalf of World Lung Foundation. Over 700,000 orphans live in Russia and around 2.5 million children are homeless. The Russian Children's Welfare Society, established in 1926, is dedicated to assisting disadvantaged Russian children improve their lives.
This year, the funds he raises will help on an asthma project for children in Russia. There are an overwhelming number of orphans and impoverished children whose medical needs cannot be met neither by the State nor by local hospitals.
